With over 29 years of insurance experience and extensive experience with commercial insurance accounts, Dock has served clients from coast to coast and many points between.

Dock has experience with complicated large accounts and difficult smaller accounts. His specialty is finding solutions for insurance and bond questions. Dock can find the way to get it done.

Kathy S. York, ACSR

Her 14 years of agency experience give Kathy the background she needs to take care of our client's daily needs. Kathy serves the agency as Commercial Lines Customer Service Manager.

Jerry Sartor joined Hanks Insurance Group, Inc. in 1996 as "our man in Dallas." Jerry has worked in commercial real estate and contractor services for over 13 years prior to joining the agency. Jerry will open the Dallas office for the agency in 1997. Currently Jerry is targeting contractors, home builders, and captive insurance prospects.

Shelley Compton, ACSR

Shelley joined Hanks Insurance Group, Inc. in February of 1996 to develop a personal lines department. She achieved all goals for the department in 1996. At the same time, Shelley completed all requirements for their Accredited Customer Service Representative designation in 1996.

The 1997 year started with Shelley and the personal lines department ahead of the pace to achieve 1997 goals.

With seventeen years of experience in the life and health insurance business, Mark currently serves as agent on employee benefit plans for over 75 businesses around the state of Texas.

Mark currently serves as a director of the Dallas Association of Life Underwriters for public relations and last year served as Director of Health and Employee Benefits. Mark is also a member of the Dallas Association of Health Underwriters and the Association of Health Insurance Agents.

Mark has been active providing employee benefits plans since 1982 and works closely with the legal and accounting professions to provide their clients quality employee benefit plans.

Mark and MDH Benefits, Inc serve as the employee benefits division of Hanks Insurance Group, Inc.

Patrick A. Deem, CIC
Austin, TX

More than 24 years in the insurance business as a company underwriter, independent agent, educator and risk manager make Patrick a prime resource for the agency.

Patrick currently consults with companies, other agents and clients to identify and control risk as a licensed Risk Manager.

Patrick has written articles on the subject of workers' compensation for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and the National Council on Compensation Insurance. He also provides answers to questions on workers' compensation for insurance agents nationwide in the industry publication Rough Notes.

Patrick lectures all over the nation as a faculty member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors on subjects ranging from general liability and business auto to business interruption and specialty coverages.

Patrick adds a large library of knowledge to the agency and is a resource to our clients.
